Disney movies are some of the fondest memories that people have from their childhoods and growing up, but not many know what goes on behind the scenes. Disney is one of the largest and most powerful companies in the world and we are surrounded by it almost everywhere in our daily lives: in the stores, on the television, and all over the media. This blog is an examination of the Walt Disney Company as a whole, and an exploration of Disney in the media through the use of The Lion King as a media commodity.
